To Whom It May Concern:

Stuart M. Cassell was  employed by this firm on October 9, 1994 in the position of multi site property manager/supervisor.  He directly managed 533 Homes, 308 Condominium units, 40,000 square feet of office space, ant two Master Homeowner Associations covering 750 homes.  He further supervised the operation of 418 apartments at four sites.

Due to specific market factors beyond our control, Stu’s position has been eliminated.  Following an extensive analysis of our cost of operation, the decision was made to terminate certain accounts and consolidate the operation of the remainder.

Stu’s performance in managing a diverse mix of properties, some “hands-on” and others as supervisor of on-site staff, has earned my utmost respect and admiration.  Stu has produced the most carefully researched and documented operating plans and budgets that I have witnessed in ten years of supervision of his position, involving eight managers who average ten years of similar experience.

Stu is extremely well organized, strong in the field and with finances, and simply personifies well-roundedness in his trade.  He has a unique gift of not only being able to quickly grasp complex information, but is also able to convey it to people who often struggle with this kind of technical information in a way that enables the data to be comfortably digested and appreciated.

Stu is a “team player” who keeps exceptional records, is highly computer literate, and relates well to other employees, including supervisors.  The ultimate test is that I would eagerly employ Stu again, and would do so before looking elsewhere.  Every effort was made to save Stu’s position and avoid losing his talent.  It is most disconcerting to have to discontinue the position of someone like Stu because of conditions beyond his control and ours.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Stuart M. Cassell for a similar or greater position.

                                                                                              Very truly yours,

To Whom It May Concern:

I have known Stu Cassell since the fall of 2001 and he has reported directly to me in the capacity as the Association Manager/Activities Director for Heritage of Hawk Ridge Community Association from January 2002 until November 2005.  This Association is an Active-Adult Development with a large clubhouse, pool, tennis courts, restaurant, 9 hole executive golf course and eventually 480 individual homes.  Stu is responsible for managing all of these assets, the numerous contracts for the operation of the Association, and the social activities of the residents.

I am a Senior Vice President for Lennar Corporation, and in that capacity I oversee several Active-Adult Developments around the United States.  I met quarterly with Stu and corresponded with him on a weekly basis.  I have found Stu to be an outstanding asset to the Association.

Stu began his employment with the Association when it was in its infancy.  As the community grew with each resident and the opening of the clubhouse, golf course, and restaurant, Stu’s duties grew.  He jumped right in and successfully increased the social activity calendar, established policies and procedures to maintain and organize the many requests coming from residents, and sought out bids from numerous contractors to begin maintaining the property.  It was a huge challenge and I am proud to say success due mainly to Stu’s persistence, patience, and willingness to try new ideas.  Stu has a wealth of talent in numerous areas and I am sure I have only been privy to a small portion.

Stu is a joy to work with, a hard working, responsible, and diligent worker, always polite and willing to help.  He works independently and gives 100% all of the time.  One can not ask for more from an individual.  It has been my pleasure to interact with Stu for the time I was given.

Sincerely,

Tom Desimpel

President

Heritage of Hawk Ridge Homeowners Association
