2012  CRYSTAL LAKE CLUB – AVON PARK, FL.

Property Manager: Supervision of 525 manufactured (mobile) homes, 18 hole golf course, and 10 person staff.  Took over publication of monthly newsletter.  Oversaw decommissioning of sewage plant.  In first 3 months replaced pool pump, spa filtering system, entry gate video surveillance system, and clubhouse roof.  Purchased pool furniture, umbrellas, office computer and phone systems.  Aggressively reduced delinquencies. Improved communication between management and residents with weekly E-blasts and creation of lobby bulletin area. Conducted community wide inspections and sent out violation letters.  Always early on monthly reports.  Told by residents I accomplished more in my first few months than the previous manager did in 8 years.  Held social activities and monthly safety meetings.

Owner/Manager:  Updated and improved historic bed and breakfast and grounds which resulted in winning the Avon Park Chamber of Commerce Beautification Award.  Created exciting new website with pages of positive guest reviews and on line booking capability.  Utilized social media to promote business.  Increased revenue by networking with local businesses and entertainment venues. Designed new theme rooms, upgraded guest amenities, effective marketing and sales via print and internet advertising.
